Finney's agents run on Claude by default — connect a Claude account and every agent can answer, plan, and use tools. Prefer your ChatGPT subscription? Sign in with Codex instead. You can skip and connect later — but until you do, Finney won't be able to reply.
Sign in with Claude Recommended
Uses your Claude.ai / Claude Pro / Claude Max subscription. Opens the Anthropic OAuth page in a new tab, then paste the code you receive back here. Every agent runs on it immediately — nothing else to configure.
Use an API key
Paste an API key from any supported provider. Reuses the same provider-keys grid you'd fill out in Admin → AI Models. Agents will run on the alt-model executor path (Anthropic direct / OpenAI-compat / Gemini-direct / etc.).
Default executor will be set to anthropic:claude-sonnet-4-6 so agents pick up this key immediately. You can change this later in Admin → AI Models.
Sign in with Codex ChatGPT sub
Uses your ChatGPT Plus / Pro subscription via the Codex CLI — no API key, no metered billing. Opens a device-auth page where you enter a one-time code, then come back. Finney's default model switches to Codex so every agent runs on it. (Requires the Codex CLI installed on this machine.)
⚠Claude isn't connected. Finney won't be able to reply until you connect an account.
